Job summary
Concordia University Irvine Department of Nursing seeks a senior academic leader to advance the MSN-FNP program. The role focuses on developing graduate curricula, coordinating online and on-campus offerings, and guiding faculty through scheduling and teaching formats.
The candidate will participate in accreditation efforts (CCNE/WASC), manage budget and policies, and supervise faculty. California RN and FNP licensure with recent practice are preferred.
Qualifications
- Master's or better in Nursing or related field.
- Administrative experience in an academic setting.
- Experience in curriculum and program development.
- Teaching experience in nursing at the baccalaureate and master levels.
- Family Nurse Practitioner license in California with recent practice experience.
- Registered nurse in California.
Responsibilities
- Develops and writes graduate curricula for new MSN-FNP program development.
- Coordinates and facilitates online/hybrid/on-ground graduate nursing curricula, class scheduling, and teaching formats.
- Participates in committees and supports accreditation activities with CCNE and WASC.
- Manages faculty workload, release time, recruitment, and performance evaluation.
- Oversees graduate simulation content and student academic requests.
