Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in Nursing or related field.
• Administrative experience in an academic setting.
• Experience in curriculum and program development.
• Teaching experience in nursing at the baccalaureate and master levels.
• Family Nurse Practitioner license in California with recent practice experience.
• Registered nurse in California.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing development of the MSN-FNP program within Concordia University Irvine's Nursing Department.
• Coordinate online/hybrid/on-ground graduate nursing curricula, scheduling and teaching formats.
• Participate on Graduate Student Thesis, policy research, and dissertation committees as chair or member.
• Coordinate orientation for new graduate students and assist in recruitment and information sessions.
• Assist with accreditation activities with WASC and CCNE and BRN.
• Develop and implement systems for advisement, matriculation, and program budget monitoring.
