Concordia University Irvine seeks an experienced nursing leader to drive the MSN-FNP program within the Department of Nursing. The role develops graduate curricula for new program development and coordinates online, hybrid, and on-ground courses, scheduling, and teaching formats.

The position involves committee participation, instructional duties, and collaboration with faculty and leadership to manage workloads, leave policies, and faculty development, while supporting accreditation efforts

Qualifications

  • Master's or higher in Nursing is required.
  • Administrative experience in an academic setting is required.
  • Experience with curriculum and program development is required.
  • Teaching experience at the baccalaureate and master levels is preferred.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner license in California with recent practice experience is required.
  • Registered nurse license in California is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in developing the MSN-FNP program and graduate curricula.
  • Coordinates online, hybrid, and on-ground graduate nursing courses and scheduling.
  • Leads orientation for new graduate students and participates on thesis and policy committees.
  • Engages in marketing, recruitment, and information sessions for the program.
  • Oversees advisement, matriculation, and faculty workload in the graduate program.
  • Assists in accreditation activities and prepares/maintains BRN, CCNE, WASC documentation.
