Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Department of Radiology seeks an accomplished academic radiologist to serve as MSK Imaging Section Chief at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The role guides a long-standing MSK program across multiple sites in the Bronx, Westchester, and Hudson Valley.

The Section Chief will provide strategic and operational leadership for the MSK division, oversee clinical operations, mentor faculty, and advance teaching and research with Orthopedic Surgery, Sports

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent radiology degree.
• ABR certification or eligibility.
• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New York.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the full spectrum of MSK imaging studies (radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
• Perform MSK image-guided procedures (arthrography, pain injections, biopsies).
• Lead and oversee MSK operations across Montefiore sites; mentor faculty.
• Teach radiology residents, fellows, and medical students; contribute to research.
