Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in New York seeks an accomplished academic radiologist to serve as Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at Associate Professor or Professor rank. The role offers leadership to expand the MSK imaging program across multiple Montefiore sites and to collaborate with Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Rheumatology, and Physical Therapy.

The Chief will oversee clinical operations, recruit and mentor faculty, and advance clinical, educational, and research missions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• ABR-certified or ABR-eligible in Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the full spectrum of musculoskeletal imaging studies (radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
• Perform MSK image-guided procedures (arthrography, injections, biopsies).
• Teach radiology residents, fellows, and medical students; mentor junior faculty.
• Engage in clinical and translational research; foster multidisciplinary collaborations.
