Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions seeks a Design Engineer to join our MSE wall systems team. You will perform stability analyses, develop designs, and support project teams with installation guidance and field resolution.

You should have a civil engineering degree, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Travel up to 10% and familiarity with CRM tools are expected; PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM or project management databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license preferred.
• Solid understanding of civil site plans and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design of MSE wall systems, including stability and connection design.
• Provide design support, specifications, solution development, and project-cycle problem-solving.
• Build relationships with project managers, engineers, contractors, and QA/QC teams.
• Communicate metrics, recommendations, and technical insights to leadership.
• Contribute to process improvements and development of efficiency tools.
• Review drawings and calculations for quality and compliance.
• Manage outside client projects through all stages and provide installation support.
• Coordinate field inquiries and timely, practical solutions.
