Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC Career Center is seeking a Design Engineer to join our MSE wall systems group. You will perform engineering analysis and design of MSE walls, support internal sales teams, and collaborate with project managers, geotechnical and civil engineers to deliver reliable, customer‑centric solutions.

This role requires a Civil Engineering background, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design of MSE wall systems, including internal and external stability, and connection design.
• Provide design support, specifications, solution development, installation guidance, and project-cycle problem-solving for our internalSales team, clients, and customers.
• Build strong relationships with project managers, geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, contractors, operations teams, and QA/QC personnel to ensure project success.
• Communicate key metrics, recommendations, and technical insights to senior leadership.
• Contribute to process improvements, strategic initiatives, and the development of tools that enhance engineering efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with plant managers, project managers on status updates and product specifications, testing, and improvements.
• Manage outside client/customer projects through all stages; take-off, submittal, preconstruction meetings, field resolution and installation support as needed.
• Review drawings and calculations for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering intent and applicable standards.
