Job summary

Voto Consulting LLC is seeking a hands-on BI/ETL Engineer to design and implement robust ETL using SSIS, and to develop scalable Power BI solutions for manufacturing data. You will integrate data from on-prem databases, cloud services, and external APIs, and optimize data models for performance.

The role emphasizes advanced DAX and Power Query work, SSRS report support, and collaboration with offshore teams.

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing ETL with SSIS.
Develop scalable Power BI solutions following best practices.
Integrate data from on-premises databases, cloud services and APIs into Power BI.
Optimize data models for performance and efficient retrieval.
Develop advanced DAX and Power Query transformations.
Support existing SSRS reports and develop new ones.
Metal/manufacturing domain knowledge is a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate to technical specs.
Architect downstream SQL Data Warehouse based on new source system.
Modify coding standards per project requirements and implement reusable components.
Analyze issues and provide timely resolutions.
Coordinate with offshore team to oversee deliverables.
Test applications and estimate effort/timelines for enhancements.
Create or update technical specifications and documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
