Legend Biotech, headquartered in Somerset, NJ, is seeking an Associate Scientist to join Global MSAT Automation. This role supports automated instrument workflows, maintains real-time inventory, and ensures GMP/compliance in a high-throughput cell therapy lab. Location: Somerset, NJ.

You’ll work cross-functionally with automation development and procurement teams to keep operations running smoothly. The role requires a Bachelor’s in biology/biotech (Master’s preferred) and 2+ years of cell

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences field; master’s preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in cell therapy manufacturing operations or GMP biologics/cell manufacturing development.
• High proficiency in aseptic techniques within a Grade B cleanroom.
• Knowledge of cold-chain logistics and short-shelf-life material handling.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Cell Therapy Processing Support — perform cell culture enrichment, maintenance and analytical assays using cell therapy manufacturing processes and automated platforms.
• Ordering & Procurement — manage full ordering lifecycle via lab inventory platforms, including material requests and tracking shipments.
