Job summary

Strand Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Scientist II for MSAT to support preclinical and clinical-stage manufacturing. The role reports to the Senior Scientist of MSAT and requires leadership presence with enthusiasm for Strand and new challenges.

The candidate will help advance manufacturing programs and participate in technology transfer efforts. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in RNA/LNP process development or manufacturing, strong data analysis, and robust documentation skills, with a

Qualifications

• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting experimental data to evaluate process performance.
• Experience with process development, scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing support.
• Experience optimizing enzymatic reactions, chromatographic purification, TFF and filtration methods for biologics.

Responsibilities

• Support execution, improvement, and maturation of preclinical and clinical-stage manufacturing processes.
• Perform lab-scale RNA and lipid nanoparticle production and analytical testing for process improvements and tech transfer.
• Author protocols and reports documenting procedures, results and conclusions.
• Collaborate with Development, Analytical, Automation, and Quality teams to advance manufacturing programs.
• Partner with external counterparts to support ongoing tech transfer and manufacturing activities.
