Job summary

STAAR Surgical seeks a manufacturing specialist to support STAAR product production and quality processes. The role focuses on resolving day-to-day manufacturing issues, validating equipment and processes, and driving continuous improvements in a regulated environment.

The candidate will lead root-cause analyses, manage non-conforming material reports and CAPAs, and collaborate with partners across functions to optimize outcomes. A technical degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education/experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma or similar training is a plus.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a regulated industry preferred.
• Design transfer experience preferred.
• Clean room operations experience is a strong plus.
• Design experience using CAD or related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Test Method Validations (TMV) on measurement equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis for issues found in production
• Support open non-conforming material reports and CAPAs
• Liaise with relevant partners in order to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma or similar training a plus

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a regulated industry preferred
• Design transfer experience preferred

Pay range is $80k - $90k annually - final compensation will depend on experience.
