Job summary

STAAR Surgical in Monrovia, CA is seeking a manufacturing-focused professional to support the manufacture of STAAR products. You will troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develop and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and perform TMV on measurement equipment to ensure quality and compliance.

The role also involves root cause analysis, supporting non-conforming material reports and CAPAs, and collaborating with partners to drive continuous manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in a regulated industry.
• Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus.

Main Job Responsibilities / Competencies

In support of the manufacture of STAAR products:

Requirements

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience.


• Lean/Six Sigma or similar training a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a regulated industry preferred


• Design transfer experience preferred


• Clean room operations experience a strong plus


• Design experience using CAD or related software preferred.

Skills

• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills


• Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Pay range is $80k - $90k annually - final compensation will depend on experience.
