Job summary

AMD in the Santa Clara/San Jose area is offering a Spring/Summer co‑op or internship. You’ll work with software engineers to build and maintain our applications, get training across design, development, testing and deployment, and learn how to automate parts of the software lifecycle.

Applicants must be enrolled in a US university at the Master’s level (CS/CE/EE) with knowledge of C/C++, Python, Linux, databases, and web frameworks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US university pursuing a Master’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python and Linux environments is expected.
• Familiarity with databases, Git, and web frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to build and maintain applications.
• Participate in design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Develop scripts to automate portions of the software lifecycle.
• Assist with debugging and preparing technical/functional reports as needed.
