Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts and languages: C/C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, SQL databases MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, Perforce, and software development workflows.
• Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
• This role is not visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with software engineers to build and maintain AMD software applications.
• Receive training across design, build, testing and deployment.
• Develop scripts to automate portions of the software development process.
• Learn debugging methodologies to identify root causes of issues.
• Contribute to drafting technical/functional documents and reports as needed.
