AMD offers a Spring/Summer Co-op and Summer Internship in the San Jose/Santa Clara area for students pursuing a Master’s degree in CS/CE/DS. You will work full time in a hybrid or onsite setting, gaining real-world experience on AI, ML, and computer vision projects with leading-edge AMD teams.

You will learn to analyze and implement changes to algorithms, build ML applications, and contribute to AI software roadmaps while collaborating with experts across the company.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a US-based university for a master's degree in CS/CE/DS
• Pursuing ML, data science, computer vision, statistics, and mathematics
• Programming in Python, C/C++
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Responsabilités

• Learn innovative technologies in Machine Learning, AI and High Performance Compute.
• Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences.
• Work on machine learning techniques for source code analysis and image corruption detection.
• Research, development and deployment in ML-based and computer vision products.
• Fix issues with deployed AI to improve user experience.
• Support AI software teams with roadmap planning, collateral development and customer engagements
