Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or similar.
• BLS certification within 90 days of start date.
• Two years of hospital or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lifts, transfers, equipment setup, daily living activities, wheelchair mobility, and weight shifts.
• Instruct exercise classes and conduct individual sessions per ACSM guidelines.
• Participate in program development and maintain gym areas and equipment.
• Attend departmental meetings and train new staff and volunteers.
• Communicate with Wellness Program members about offerings and sessions.
• Coordinate wellness program offerings and serve as department lead as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report injuries or safety issues promptly.
