Shepherd Center seeks an experienced exercise professional to support patient care teams and wellness initiatives. You will assist with lifts, transfers, and supervised exercise sessions within ACSM guidelines.

Competenze

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Basic computer keyboard/mouse operations and basic typing skills are required.
The ability to learn Word, Excel, Outlook, Therapeutic Exercise equipment operating system, and video equipment.
BLS certification within 90 days of start date.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or similar.

Mansioni

Assist other patient care team members in lifts, transports, equipment assemble, activities of daily living, transfers, wheelchair mobility and weight shifts, and locomotor training.
May instruct and conduct exercise classes and conduct individual exercise sessions, working within the guidelines established by the ACSM.
Participate in program development initiatives.
Maintain equipment, gym, areas, storage areas, wheelchairs, and bathroom equipment, and other areas as assigned.
Attends departmental meetings and required facility special events.
