Job summary

Gaming & Technology Academy of Saginaw is hiring a upbeat Middle School English Language Arts Teacher to foster a collaborative and inspiring learning environment for grades 6–8. You will deliver ELA instruction using research-based strategies to boost engagement and achievement, with MTSS-informed interventions where needed.

Qualifications include a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a BA/BX endorsement, a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of three years of teaching experience.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of English Language Arts curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning and are in line with the State standards
• Develop and implement strategies of interventions for individual students
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
