Job summary

Itineris is expanding its North America growth and seeks a Finance Domain Pursuit Consultant to partner with the Business Development Team. You will analyze prospect goals, translate requirements into workable demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and support solution showcases.

The role leverages a strong finance background within utilities, a deep understanding of business processes, and experience with D365 for Finance. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the utility or telecom industry.
• Ability to identify business requirements.

Finance Domain Pursuit Consultant – Business Development Team As a Pursuit Consultant, you are responsible for working collaboratively with the Business Development Team to contribute to Itineris North America growth through a structured and methodical, and proven approach. Your primary responsibilities will be performing need’s analysis to understand prospect business goals, translating and communicating business goals into proven and favorable results, responding to RFPs, and providing demonstrations. What is UMAX? Itineris provides modern, cloud-based, and utility-centric Customer Information System (CIS) and Customer Engagement (CE) solutions in Western Europe and North America. Itineris was founded in Belgium over twenty years ago and entered the North America utilities market in 2012. The organization has strategically grown our market presence to fifteen flagship customers today. We are recognized as a market leader for larger-sized municipal utilities with a proven track record of satisfied customers. Our CIS solution, UMAX, is developed in and on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for finance platform. As such, UMAX is a native extension of D365 and inherits all the innovation, security, and reliability of the Microsoft ecosystem. We also leverage Microsoft’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, which expands our UMAX CIS solution to include native Customer Service, Customer Insights, and Sales modules. The CRM platform leverages AI Copilot-driven Omnichannel communication capabilities for enhanced CSR operations. We are seeking a Finance Domain Pursuit Consultant to help grow our North America market presence. The Business Development Team is responsible for acquiring new clients and meeting revenue goals by selling UMX CIS and related solutions to municipal utilities. This role is responsible for aiding this growth by providing solution demonstrations, assisting with Discovery Sessions, and responding to RFPs. The ideal candidate will have a solid finance background, knowledge of the utility industry, and an understanding of CIS modernization initiatives. In addition to supporting business development activities, the person in this role may occasionally be called upon to contribute to active customer projects.

As a Finance Domain Pursuit Consultant, you will…

• Translate business and functional requirements into application solutions
• Configure UMAX processes to make sure the system works as expected for demonstrations and discovery sessions
• Work with the sales team to make sure that RFP and prospect needs are incorporated into product specifications and functions
• Lead and organize meetings and workshops with the Pursuit and Sales
• Travel, as needed
