The client is working on enhancing and maintaining enterprise‑grade retail solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce. The project focuses on designing, extending, and optimizing retail and store commerce systems, including POS integrations, to support complex business workflows in a high‑availability, performance‑sensitive environment.

Role: MS Dynamics developer with X++ experience

They are looking for a senior‑level Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Solution Developer with strong hands‑on experience in X++ development and Dynamics 365 F&O and Commerce. The role is highly technical and requires someone comfortable with solution design, deep debugging, and extending standard D365 functionality, particularly within retail and store commerce contexts.

Task and Deliverables

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce modules
• Write, maintain, and optimize high‑quality X++ code following best practices and performance standards
• Design and implement robust and maintainable extensions to standard D365 functionality
• Perform advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis across integrated systems
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions
• Optimize system performance and ensure reliable integrations with retail POS and store commerce systems
• Manage build pipelines and support deployments using Azure DevOps and related tools
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for delivered solutions

Required Experience

• Hands‑on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce
• Expertise in X++ development, customizations, and extension‑based architecture
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and version control practices

Nice to have

• Solid understanding of retail business processes, including POS and store commerce workflows
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third‑party systems
• Hands‑on experience with REST‑based API integrations
