Job summary

Adrian Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Cross Country Coach at Springbrook Middle School for the 2026 season. The role focuses on building endurance, sportsmanship, and a positive team environment for grades 6–8.

The coach will lead practices, provide instruction on running technique, and support student-athletes in personal growth. CPR/AED certification is required or must be obtained before the season; participation at high school meets is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have coaching experience at high school level or higher.
• CPR/AED certification required or able to obtain before season.
• Willing to work at high school meets and offseason with head varsity coach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and inspire student-athletes in distance running fundamentals.
• Build endurance, promote sportsmanship, and foster personal growth in a positive team environment.
• Attend HS meets and offseason work with the varsity cross country coach as needed.
