Job summary

Lake Chelan School District is seeking a Girls Wrestling Assist Coach for the 2026-2027 season at Chelan Middle School. The role emphasizes using athletics to support education and develop student-athletes in line with district values.

Salary range for this stipend-based position is $2,272-$3,138, based on prior, documented district experience in the same sport. Questions may be directed to the district athletic office.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching and/or playing experience in the sport.
• Proven ability to coach at the middle school or high school level.
• Willingness to work with staff.
• Valid first aid and CPR card, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
• FBI, Washington State Patrol and Sexual Misconduct background clearance.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the student-athletes. Strive to be a quality role model that the student-athletes feel comfortable going to for mentorship, always putting student-athletes’ needs at the forefront and vigorously working to serve their needs.
• Commitment to promoting the vision, values, and mission of the school district and athletic department.
