Chelan High School is seeking an assistant girls’ wrestling assistant coach to start immediately for the 2026-27 season. The position offers a salary range of $4,675 to $5,636 based on prior, documented, school district experience in the same sport.

We seek passionate coaches committed to enhancing educational opportunities through athletics while promoting the Chelan Athletic Department core values: Motivated, Open Minded, Respectful and Engaged.

Formación

• Prior coaching and/or playing experience in the sport.
• Proven ability to coach at the high school level.
• Willingness to work with staff.
• Valid first aid and CPR card, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
• FBI, Washington State Patrol and Sexual Misconduct background clearance.

Overview of Coaching Staff Expectations

• Responsible for leading and administering a program that is organized, well prepared, and operated with integrity. Coaches should use athletics to teach valuable life skills and provide an exceptional educational experience for the student athletes.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the student-athletes. Strive to be a quality role model that the student-athletes feel comfortable going to for mentorship, always putting student-athletes’ needs at the forefront and vigorously working to serve their needs.
• Commitment to promoting the vision, values, and mission of the school district and athletic department.
