Job summary

Paw Paw Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Assistant Football Coach for the 2026/2027 season. The coach will be responsible for developing basic football knowledge and working cohesively with a team to enhance skills.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma, demonstrate extensive football experience, and have strong organizational skills. This role provides an excellent opportunity to positively impact young athletes in Paw Paw, MI.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma

• Possesses the ability to motivate players and coaches to work toward program philosophy/goals

Job Description

• Carry out practice plans to build basic football knowledge and age-appropriate skillsets
• Work within a program philosophy and curriculum that builds upon itself from grades 6-12
• Be a productive and cohesive coach on a staff that works to develop all players from grades 6-12
• Teach and instru ct the sport of football, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes

Salary/Benefits: Per VBCEA/PPEA, MEA-NEA contract Schedule C
