Job summary

M.R. Williams, Inc. is seeking a DSD (direct store delivery) Food Route Sales Representative to deliver, stock, order, and merchandise prepared food products on assigned routes.

This role supports convenience stores, truck stops, and travel centers with reliable service and organized merchandising. Your responsibilities include driving a box truck, maintaining route inventory, building customer relationships, and processing orders and credits per company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Route sales experience is preferred.
• Valid driver license (CDL preferred) and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform loading/unloading.
• Must be able to pass DoD background checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck for customer deliveries.
• Maintain inventory on the route truck.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Order product for assigned accounts.
• Deliver and merchandise products for assigned accounts.
• Handle credits per company guidelines.
• Handle customer payments per company guidelines.
• Ensure the delivery truck is maintained per schedule.
• Communicate with leadership regarding assigned accounts.
• Management may modify duties as needed.

The DSD Food Route Sales Representative is a DSD (direct store delivery) representative delivering, stocking, ordering, and merchandising prepared food products to assigned routes.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck for customer deliveries
• Maintain inventory on the route truck
• Maintain customer relationships
• Order product for assigned accounts
• Deliver and merchandise products for assigned accounts
• Handle any credits per company guidelines
• Handle any customer payments per company guidelines
• Ensure that the assigned delivery truck is maintained per the preventative maintenance schedule
• Communicate regularly with assigned leadership regarding assigned accounts
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties at any time.

Education, Experience, And Skills Required

• Customer service experience
• Route Sales Experience - Preferred
• Valid Driver License (CDL Preferred)
• Good Driving Record
• Loading and unloading product
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to undergo and pass the Department of Defense background and security checks.
