Clay Lacy Aviation in Santa Ana, CA seeks an MRT Aircraft Maintenance Technician II to travel to customer aircraft, perform maintenance, inspections, and alterations under FAA-repair-station authority. This role requires flexibility for day shifts and heavy travel, with a $54–$60/hour pay and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will document work per technical data, interact with customers, and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced, professional environment within our aviation services team.

Qualifications

  • Airframe & Power Plant license is required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting corporate jet aircraft as an A&P technician.
  • Able to travel 75% within the Southern California region and 5% outside.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service customer aircraft with minimal supervision.
  • Travel extensively to customer aircraft for maintenance events and training.
  • Document all work in accordance with technical data and policy.
  • Interact frequently with customers while maintaining high service levels.
  • Adhere to Clay Lacy Aviation, FAA and OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proficiency with tools, techniques, and calibration schedules.
