Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified candidate in Mississippi to join the manufacturing planning team supporting Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Shop Floor Control. You will work to align material availability with production schedules and contractual requirements, while learning MRP signals, processes, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering obtained by the start date.
• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Production Control.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• *Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Preferred major in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience using SAP/PRISM based MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Transact and execute in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Shop Floor Control systems to align material availability, production schedule, and contractual requirements.
• Communicate effectively and learn MRP system signals, processes, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Own metrics to maintain system health and drive performance to meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, logistics, and other groups.
