Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, Bay Advanced Technologies, seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to ensure accurate and timely order processing while maintaining stock integrity. The role includes dead stock management, cycle counts, and cross-functional coordination with Purchasing and Customer Service.

Responsibilities span directing shipping/receiving, training staff, and improving operational efficiency under the Supply Chain Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
• Ability to lead and supervise warehouse staff.
• Proficient with MRP systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct personnel in shipping and receiving to ensure timely, accurate order processing.
• Train new employees on procedures and safety measures; suggest process improvements.
• Monitor manpower needs using activity reports and adjust accordingly.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to resolve receiving discrepancies and improve stock accuracy.
• Oversee daily handling of packing slips and inventory disposition.
• Investigate parts that are shelved incorrectly or missing.
• Maintain integrity of warehouse material and inventory records.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Lead dead stock inventory management and cycle counting programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
