Job summary

Leviton in Morganton, NC seeks a procurement planner to schedule, release, and maintain finished goods and components, while coordinating with buyers and vendors. You will manage inventories, monitor changes via Engineering, and ensure timely procurement and reporting to support production.

The role requires an associate degree, experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with Oracle ERP; CPIM is a plus. Travel up to 10% may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPIM Certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in ERP systems, Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and procurement information to the MRP manager and plant supervision.
• Maintains inventories for packaging, components, and raw materials.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and plant support groups.
• Coordinates with MRP Manager for new items planning and execution.
• Maintains production schedules to balance capacity and staffing.
