Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, Texas is seeking a Manager, Material Management (MRP Manager/Lead) to oversee the MRP team and coordinate between Operations, Production, and customer-facing stakeholders to resolve program issues.

You will lead the team, develop plans, interact with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing, and provide proposal support while maintaining program metrics and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 7+ years; in lieu of degree, 13+ years of related experience.
• 6 months supervisory experience required.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the material requirements and MRP team; analyze material requirements and impact on program needs.
• Collaborate with Program Office, PM Management, and stakeholders to define priorities and schedules; develop plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure drawings are released and schedules met.
• Provide proposal support including estimating MRP labor and material effort.
• Review Proposals & SOWs; track status metrics; support Make/Buy decisions; monitor supplier performance.
• Monitor program performance using program management tools; report on budget and schedule; facilitate coordination.
• Lead or participate in Integrated Product Teams to ensure successful execution and reduce non-value-added costs.
• Establish operational plans with measurable contributions toward results; sometimes without P&L responsibility.
