Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Manager of Material Management (MRP Manager/Lead) in Waco, TX to lead the MRP team and coordinate with Operations, Production, and stakeholders. The role focuses on aligning program material requirements with budgets and schedules while driving process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a BS degree with extensive experience in MRP, SAP or Solumina, and strong leadership. A Secret clearance may be required for this position and on-site work in Waco is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 9+ years of related experience. Graduate Degree with 7+ years can substitute. In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the material requirements and MRP team; analyze program material requirements and impact on program requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Office, PM Management, and stakeholders to define tasks, budgets, and schedules; establish performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure drawings release and schedules are met.
• Provide proposal support by estimating MRP labor and material efforts.
• Review proposals and SOWs to set status metrics, support Make/Buy decisions, and manage supplier contacts and records.
• Use program management tools to monitor performance against budget and schedule; facilitate coordination and decision-making.
• Lead or participate in Integrated Product Teams to drive program execution and reduce non-value-added costs.
• Supervise and guide team; develop operational plans and manage processes within budget; security clearance may be required.
