Job summary

Thermo Vac is seeking a detail‑oriented Manufacturing Data Entry Clerk in Michigan to support the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Production teams. You will enter and verify job data, maintain BOMs, and ensure data accuracy across the MRP system.

The role emphasizes data integrity, process adherence, and collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing to support production and quality standards. This on‑site position offers growth within a small, family‑oriented operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1–2 years in data entry, admin, or manufacturing support preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP or manufacturing databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain job data, routings, work instructions, and internal part numbers in the MRP system.
• Enter Bills of Material (BOMs), labor operations, and manufacturing notes as directed.
• Review customer purchase orders and input data for job setup, packing slips, and invoicing support.
• Assist with job tracking, status updates, and closure of job travelers, including data verification.
• Maintain accuracy and traceability of manufacturing data in the MRP system.
• Verify data against source documents to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Communicate discrepancies or missing information to appropriate personnel.
