Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Gardena, CA to manage material availability and accurate data within the MRP system. The role supports receiving, warehouse operations, and coordination with production and shipping teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in inventory control, strong attention to detail, and proficient data entry skills in a manufacturing setting. This is an on-site role with a focus on accuracy and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of inventory control, material handling, shipping/receiving, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with an MRP/ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control transactions within the MRP system.
• Process and maintain accurate inventory records and data entry.
• Research inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies within the MRP system.
• Review planning and inventory information to support material availability and operational requirements.
• Assist with receiving, raw material inventory, finished goods inventory, hardware inventory, and internal shop transfers.
• Maintain electronic records and filing systems for inventory, shipping, and operational documentation.
• Support packing and shipping activities as workload and business needs require.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and inventory personnel to ensure timely and accurate material movement.
• Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
