Job summary

PB Fasteners in the United States is seeking an Inventory Control professional to maintain accurate records and transact within the MRP system. You will support material availability, assist with receiving and warehouse operations, and help ensure timely material movement across production teams.

The role requires attention to detail, data-entry proficiency, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with shipping and inventory personnel.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years experience in inventory control, material handling, shipping, receiving, or related manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with an MRP/ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control transactions within the MRP system and maintain records.
  • Process data entry and ensure accuracy of inventory data.
  • Research transactions and resolve discrepancies in the MRP system.
  • Support material availability and operational requirements through planning reviews.
  • Assist with receiving, raw material, finished goods, and internal transfers.
  • Maintain electronic records for inventory, shipping, and documentation.
  • Support packing and shipping as needed and coordinate with teams.
  • Follow inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform inventory control transactions within the MRP system, including:
  • Process and maintain accurate inventory records and data entry activities.
  • Research inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies within the MRP system.
  • Review planning and inventory information to support material availability and operational requirements.
  • Assist with receiving, raw material inventory, finished goods inventory, hardware inventory, and internal shop transfers.
  • Maintain electronic records and filing systems for inventory, shipping, and operational documentation.
  • Support packing and shipping activities as workload and business needs require.
  • Coordinate with production, shipping, and inventory personnel to ensure timely and accurate material movement.
  • Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, material handling, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with an MRP/ERP system preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of inventory control principles and material transactions.
  • Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and audit inventory data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Willingness to support various operational functions and departmental priorities as directed.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
