Job summary

Detecto in Webb City, MO is seeking a Production MRP Clerk for full-time hours to manage release of work orders, inventory counts, and routine clerical duties. The role requires coordinating with supervisors and purchasing to resolve shortages and maintain stock levels.

Expected to work 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with occasional evenings or weekends. An Associate degree or 3 years of related experience in manufacturing materials is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an applicable field, and/or 3 years of related manufacturing materials experience.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Release production work orders in the MRP system based on availability and start dates.
• Review material shortages with supervisors and purchasing to protect on-time production.
• Maintain inventory stock and reorder up to pre-authorized limits.
• Establish and maintain backup processes for high-demand items.
• Input cycle count data as needed across Fab Shop, Spot Weld, and Stockroom.
• Provide inventory reports to Materials Manager and Purchasing.
