Job summary

Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Co in Webb City, MO is seeking a Full Time Clerical/Materials Clerk to release production work orders, track orders, and maintain inventory accuracy. You will work with the MRP system and coordinate with plant staff to keep production on schedule.

The role requires an associate degree or 3 years related experience, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to perform periodic cycle counts and audits. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years related experience in manufacturing materials.
• Experience with production, organization and management of manufacturing materials.
• Experience with inventory and MRP systems.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Release planned work orders in the MRP system for Fab Shop and Spot Weld shop floor.
• Review material shortages and coordinate with supervisors/purchasing.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels; reorder to limit.
• Establish backup system for high-demand items.
• Input cycle count data for Fab Shop, Spot Weld, Stockroom.
• Provide inventory reports to Materials Manager and Supervisors.
• Process work order WIP receipts and address variances.
• Coordinate release of programming/drawings to workstations.
• Respond to work order changes and coordinate with operators.
• Ensure error-free output for internal/external customers.
• Maintain good vendor relations.
• Conduct regular audits of physical inventory.
• Assist with weekly/daily inventory audits.
