Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional responsible for executing purchase orders for serial production parts, managing supplier delivery dates, and optimizing inventory to support the master production schedule.

The role requires strong communication, SAP/MRP familiarity, and a focus on timely, compliant procurement. Key duties include placing POs, verifying terms, expediting orders when needed, and coordinating with Logistics and Quality to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field (+2 years experience) or 4+ years in procurement with no degree.
• Excellent communication and professional attitude with stakeholders.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook proficiency; familiarity with SAP and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Place POs for all parts per MRP to support the master production schedule.
• Verify terms and conditions of POs with suppliers; confirm quantities and delivery dates.
• Manage supplier delivery dates and expedite as needed to support production.
• Track and manage inbound transportation; coordinate with Logistics and Quality for inspections.
• Monitor inventory levels and mitigate shortages to avoid production delays.
• Ensure compliance with RECARO policies and applicable standards (AS9100/ISO9001/FAA).
