Job summary

TDW in Tulsa, OK is seeking a materials planning specialist to convert engineering information into manufacturing data. You will create item masters, BOMs and routing in the MRP system by analyzing engineering prints and technical docs.

Responsibilities include evaluating Service Now Tasks, implementing BOM and routing changes, tracking daily backlog, coordinating with accounting, and communicating status across departments while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Solid knowledge of MRP and manufacturing processes.
Experience interpreting engineering prints and BOM data preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain item masters, BOMs, and routers in the MRP system by analyzing engineering prints and related docs.
Evaluate ServiceNow Tasks to determine necessary BOM/ROUTE changes.
Implement changes to item masters, BOMs, and routes in the MRP system as required.
Interpret engineering prints to calculate raw material requirements for BOMs.
Track daily backlog and adjust work hours to meet targets; communicate status to management.
Collaborate with accounting on updated information and report status across departments.
Support continuous improvement initiatives via special projects.
