Job summary

International Aircraft Propellers is seeking a Propeller Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repair on aircraft propellers. The role requires high school diploma and hands-on mechanical aptitude to ensure propeller safety and performance.

Responsibilities include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, balancing, and timely execution of servicing per standards, with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Mechanical Aptitude – demonstrated hands-on competency.
  • Manual Dexterity – ability to perform detailed handwork.
  • Experience with Process Standards – ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Computer Skills – ability to enter and retrieve data on a computer.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect propeller assemblies for defects.
  • Balance propellers to meet aerodynamic performance standards.
  • Replace or repair blades, hubs, spinners, and pitch control mechanisms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department

Company Name: International Aircraft Propellers offers new and overhauled propellers & parts. We also partnered with multiple shops and manage propeller overhauls for many of our customers. By allowing International Propeller Service Lincoln to manage your overhauls, we know the ins and outs of the overhaul process and can make sure that you are getting the best value for your money. If any additional parts need to be changed during the overhaul, we will always search to find overhauled/serviceable parts instead of using new ones every time, again reducing your cost for maintenance.

Key Deliverables of the Role

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
Required Technical Competencies:
  1. 1) Mechanical Aptitude – demonstrated examples (on the job or outside of work) showing competency to work with hands. Might include items such as body work skills, crate repair, general wrenching ability, construction work, etc.
  2. 2) Manual Dexterity – Ability to perform a job that requires detailed handwork.
  3. 3) Experience with Process Standards – Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and execute written instructions.
  4. 4) Computer Skills – Experience with entering and retrieving data from a computer.
