Job summary

YOU

The Maintenance Repair and Operations Supply Coordinator maintains current inventory system while supporting maintenance technicians and supply room organization. Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to issue inventory items to work orders, close work orders, order parts and create new inventory part locations and identifications.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)

• Inventory management to ensure all necessary parts are on hand for equipment ran and facility means. This is managed using the Maintenance Connection software. (50%)
• Process work orders by tracking inventory, ordering parts. Once completed, close work orders. Run usage reports at specific intervals for Maintenance department. (25%)
• Create and issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors. Arrange waste oil pick ups and coordinate lubrication product deliveries when required. (15%)
• Support the production staff and assist with projects as needed. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) required.
• 1 year stock room in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety: consistently exemplify the highest of safety standards and monitor others to the same standards. Able to pass OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training. Must wear required PPE.
• Dependability: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
• Mathematical Reasoning: able to add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers, fractions and decimal equivalents.
• Language: able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Problem Solving: able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Analysis/Reasoning: able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Communication: able to effectively communicate in group settings and one on one.
• Measurement: able to read a tape measure to 1/16" tolerance and to use calipers and possible micrometers.
• Technology: knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Able to learn new programs as needed.
• Self-Management: ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job requires no domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in McKinney, TX.

PAY

$25.29 - $40.48 / hour
