The Campbell's Company in the United States seeks an MRO Purchaser to coordinate SAP inventory, parts purchasing/expediting, MRO supplies, outside service, contract coordination, and purchase orders under the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include purchasing, supplier coordination, invoicing, file maintenance, cycle counting, and SAP reporting.

Requires a high school diploma and 3+ years purchasing or manufacturing experience; 5+ years in food manufacturing is a plus.

Competenze

• 3+ years of purchasing experience or in manufacturing/supply chain.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with SAP purchasing and inventory management is a plus.

How you will make history here...

The MRO Purchaser (under the supervision of the Engineering & Maintenance Manager) is responsible for coordinating SAP inventory, purchasing/expediting parts, MRO supplies, outside service, contract coordination and generating purchase orders

What you will do..

-Purchasing

oCreates purchase orders in SAP for: MRO/miscellaneous supplies, capital projects, contract purchases

oObtains price quotations from prospective vendors for MRO supplies, services and miscellaneous materials.

oCoordinates invoices from vendors and prepares proper documentation associated with Work Order files.

oEstablishes and maintains hard copy and electronic files for purchasing activities

oResponsible for resolving invoice discrepancies, vendor generated credit follow-ups and freight charge accruals

oDevelops vendor blanket purchase orders, updating them annually or “as needed” basis.

oOrders general supplies for Engineering and Maintenance Department as well as various plant needs on an “as needed” basis.

-Inventory management

oCompares available inventory of each part or piece of equipment with its specified re-ordering point

oReviews of historical data on equipment parts and re-orders as necessary

oEvaluates repair/replace options

oCoordinates cycle counting and physical inventory of storeroom

oGenerates various SAP reports including stock replenishment, inventory usage, value analysis, parts allocation, and delinquent purchase orders.

oWorks closely with vendors on stocking and maintaining shop inventory

oReconcile invoices and quarterly inventories

oTracks usage for annual pricing negotiations

oWorks closely with vendors to control cost and maintain consistent consignment inventory

-Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

• 3+ years of purchasing experience, manufacturing experience or supply chain experience

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$60,500-$83,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
