Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking an MRO Planner Buyer to join the Supply Chain team in Puerto Rico. You will coordinate purchasing, planning, and supplier collaboration to ensure timely provisioning of MRO materials and services, maintaining inventory targets and supporting operational continuity.

You will work with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to optimize stock, reduce costs, and improve service levels while upholding cGMP and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• CPIM, CPM or related certification preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and inventory planning processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and planning activities to ensure availability of MRO materials and services.
• Execute procurement and inventory planning using MRP/ERP systems and demand requirements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
• Support material review, disposition, and obsolete inventory management processes.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, quality, and pricing to ensure continuity of supply.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, service and cost objectives.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, returns, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to support business objectives.
• Contribute to cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain optimization.
