Job summary

You will maintain the inventory database, generate reports in Word and Excel, perform physical counts, and process SAP purchase requisitions. The role emphasizes cost reduction, inventory turns, Lean maintenance understanding, and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have strong inventory management and accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel for reporting.
• Lean Maintenance understanding and adherence to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database for parts identification, stocking levels, and shelf locations.
• Perform regular physical inventories and adjust inventory system accordingly.
• Enter withdrawals and submit purchase requests when under stocking levels.
• Generate required reports in Word and Excel for management review.
• Identify standard industrial parts (nuts, bolts, belts, bearings, motors, fuses).
• Stock shelves with received parts and package items for repair.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal customers to obtain quotations for PR submittals.
• Use OEM prints and catalogs to identify parts and locate non-stocked items.
• Process purchase requisitions and receive parts into SAP.
• Inform requesters to pick up parts from MRO area.
• Follow safety policies and maintain area housekeeping.
