Job summary

IFF is seeking an MRO Inventory Coordinator to manage the spare parts program, maintain inventories, and coordinate with suppliers and engineers to ensure availability and cost-efficient procurement.

The role requires hands-on experience with inventory systems and SAP, plus strong collaboration with maintenance, sourcing, and operations teams across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the spare parts program operation and maintenance.
• Input and purchase part/materials into the spare parts inventory systems.

• Work with service center to ensure vendors are paid and purchase orders are submitted.
• Facilitate spare part logistics and expedited delivery as required.
• Perform physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Provide inventory management reports to supervision and alert management to problems.
• Work with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to develop equipment BOMs and spare parts strategy.

Job Summary

Perform all-around maintenance and repair services in several crafts, such as electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, millwright, and painting, at a moderately complex level. Apply skills in a primary craft gained from practical experience. Possess an in-depth understanding of maintenance history of the building, equipment, and other facilities to be maintained. Use expertise for diagnosis and emergency repairs, provide preventive and cost-efficient repairs, use all shop machinery and hand tools, act as leader for less-skilled assistants, consult with engineers and vendors.

NATURE OF WORK

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the spare parts program
• Job includes necessary interface with the spare parts inventory control software program
• Facilitating and support site inventory audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain proper quantity and selection of spare parts and materials to perform plant and facility repairs. Quantity and selection criteria are determined by plant supervision, engineers, equipment manufacturers, and equipment history.
• Maintain spare parts warehouses to ensure availability and efficient issuance and receipt of spare parts.
• Provide and input part/materials purchases and receipts into the computerized spare parts inventory systems.
• Work in conjunction with Sourcing to ensure that materials are purchased in conformance to specifications, cost, and delivery lead times.
