Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Detroit, MI is seeking an on-site Inventory Clerk to manage materials, parts, and supplies for the maintenance team. You will work with vendors and internal teams to ensure stock levels, timely deliveries, and accurate record-keeping in CMMS.

You will also handle forklift operation, received shipments, and help keep warehouses organized to support facility operations. This role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, inventory management, or maintenance support experience preferred.
• Familiarity with building trades and maintenance operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication in English; strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of construction materials, HVAC/plumbing parts, electrical components, paint and general maintenance supplies.
• Maintain Keep Stock program and conduct cycle counts and audits.
• Process work orders and purchasing requests through CMMS; coordinate material needs with technicians.
• Receive, inspect and verify deliveries against purchase orders; track discrepancies.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; move materials to job sites and storage areas.
• Support maintenance staff by staging materials and keeping storage areas organized.
