Blue Bird Corporation is hiring a Buyer, MRO to support procurement and distribution for maintenance, repairs, and operations at the Troy, Michigan site. You will streamline processes, manage the end-to-end PO lifecycle, and resolve invoice discrepancies to keep production timelines on track.

The role requires negotiating with vendors, evaluating bids, and collaborating with legal to finalize agreements. Candidates should have a strong Excel and LN/B-BOND background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Business Related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, materials management, planning, or indirect procurement.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; able to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• PO management: execute, revise, and manage POs using LN and B-BOND to meet timelines.
• Contract administration: manage indirect goods/services contracts and admin procedures.
• Supplier lifecycle: onboard new suppliers, evaluate performance, drive cost savings.
• Inventory & logistics: monitor stock levels and logistics for critical supplies.
• Financial & pricing: verify bid pricing, resolve invoice discrepancies with accounting/vendors.
• Cross-functional: act as procurement Super User for indirect commodities across departments.
