Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corp. in Monticello, MS is seeking an MRO Buyer to procure parts, services, and maintenance materials, aligning with operations and safety policies while leveraging ERP systems to optimize costs and working capital.

You will manage RFQs, track deliveries, negotiate terms, and collaborate across functions to ensure supply continuity and timely support for facility needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or related supply chain experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on location and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute company-wide sourcing strategies for MRO and production-related categories.
• Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and mitigate inventory overages using the ERP system.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier bids, negotiate terms and pricing, and select suppliers based on total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate across operations, engineering, logistics, and finance to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and work with logistics to optimize delivery and costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, purchasing, and contractual policies.
