Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector America – ARS/Fibrebond division seeks an MRO Buyer at our manufacturing facility in Minden, LA. You will manage MRO inventories, coordinate with vendors, process purchase orders, and collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Epicor ERP and Excel experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in purchasing or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Experience with Epicor ERP and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tools and shop supplies and manage part number assignments for materials.
• Maintain documentation such as tool lists, restocking spreadsheets, price lists, contracts, and purchasing agreements.
• Maintain price increase and update log; drive cost-out opportunities.
• Identify potential savings and drive cost reductions for materials.
• Support and implement GPO strategy for MRO items at plant level.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement events; resolve order discrepancies and delays.
• Evaluate vendors and monitor performance; resolve invoices and discrepancies in DocStar.
• Analyze and adjust inventory levels and reorder points; negotiate with suppliers.
• Create and provide accurate Purchasing Orders; handle special projects.
