Job summary

Eaton’s Fibrebond division in Minden, Louisiana, seeks an MRO Buyer to manage maintenance, repairs, and operations inventory at the plant. You will coordinate with vendors, process purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and schedule timely deliveries in support of manufacturing operations.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain. Strong vendor management, Excel skills, and Epicor ERP familiarity are preferred; relocation is not offered, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain role.
• No CPT/OPT sponsorship; no relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tools and shop supplies and manage part number assignments for materials.
• Maintain price increase and update log; ensure accurate documentation (price lists, contracts, purchasing agreements).
• Identify cost-savings opportunities and drive cost-out reduction for materials.
• Support GPO strategy for MRO items at plant level and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Resolve order discrepancies and delays; manage vendor performance and supplier negotiations.
• Create and provide accurate Purchasing Orders; assist with invoice/payments and approvals.
