AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking an experienced EVS Director to lead Environmental Services, Patient Transport and Volunteer Services, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational vision.

You will develop relationships with leaders, supervise staff, manage annual budgets, improve patient satisfaction, and implement policies and standards across the department.

• Plans, organizes, and delegates activities for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the department
• Develops and oversees the implementation of policies, procedures, and standards aligning department operations with regulatory guidelines
• Identifies and utilizes processes and resources that support optimal delivery of data and information to leadership and staff
• Manages employees by hiring, terminating, directing, monitoring, and correcting performance to ensure adequate quality of work
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Description:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have operational, functional, and strong business acumen skills and knowledge of the Director EVS, Patient Transport, & Volunteer Services processes, including the clinical and non-clinical areas. [Required]
• Assures current operations are compliant with government and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Computer proficiency required with basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). [Required]
• Must have proven operational experience at the managerial level. [Required]
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and general management skills, must be service-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives. [Required]
• Ability to maintain productivity goals and supply costs according to budgetary targets. [Required]
• Ability to manage the day-to-day activities in supervising EVS and Patient Transport leaders and staff including mentoring, training, hiring, terminations, orienting, and evaluating performance. [Required]
• Knowledge about best practice environmental cleanliness and patient transportation protocols.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English. [Required]

Education:

• Associate [Required]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 5+ in management/leadership of healthcare environmental services or patient transport [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Driver's License (DL) [Required]
• Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) [Preferred]

Physical Requirements:

Pay Range: $97,219.20 - $180,835.20
